It is my great pleasure to welcome the world’s finest Adventure Golf athletes to Winterberg for this historic and truly exceptional event.
This year marks the final edition of the World Adventure Golf Masters (WAGM), and it brings together the global elite for a competition shaped by years of preparation, dedication, and unwavering commitment. When the torunament starts, players have refined every detail, adapted to the course, and pushed their skills to the highest possible level.
Spectators can look forward to a tournament defined by extraordinary precision, remarkable technical ability, and moments where emotions run high as the pressure intensifies.
As many will know, this is the last WAGM because the World Minigolf Federation (WMF) voted last year to recognize Adventure Golf as a fully established course category - on equal footing with Concrete, Miniaturegolf, and Felt.
The next time the world gathers for Adventure Golf, it will be to compete for the official World Championship title, marking a new and exciting chapter for our sport.
This year’s championship is hosted by Deutscher Minigolfsport Verband (DMV), an organization with a long and distinguished tradition of delivering events of the highest standard. Their professionalism and dedication ensure that we can once again expect an outstanding tournament experience for players, officials, and spectators alike.
I wish all participants the very best in their pursuit of excellence and invite everyone to enjoy what promises to be a memorable and historic competition.
