Dear sports friends,
I am delighted to warmly welcome you to the “World Adventure Golf Masters 2026” in Winterberg. This tournament is an impressive sign of the growing importance of Adventure Golf within international Minigolf, and at the same time a fine example of how our sport continues to evolve.
Adventure Golf is a relatively young course system within the minigolf family, but more and more minigolf players are discovering how enjoyable it is. It combines sporting challenge with a modern, attractive, and spectator-friendly form of competition. Demanding course designs, varied play, and the special atmosphere of such facilities make adventure golf highly fascinating both for elite athletes and for spectators.
The fact that around 120 participants from numerous nations are coming together over three days for the WAGM clearly shows how dynamically this course system is developing. An international field of this size not only gives the tournament sporting quality, but also makes it a place of meeting, exchange, and friendship across national borders. This is one of the particular strengths of our sport: it brings people together, creates community, and combines competition with fairness and mutual respect.
My special thanks already go to the facility operators, Monique and Robin Schlossmann, as well as to all the helpers and volunteers for their great commitment. Through their dedication, passion, and connection to this sport, they make a significant contribution to ensuring that our sport continues to develop and can present itself visibly on the international stage. An event like this depends on people who are willing to take responsibility and to create excellent conditions with great enthusiasm and heartfelt commitment. They deserve our sincere recognition.
I wish all participants successful competition days, exciting sporting decisions, and many wonderful encounters on this beautiful course.
